Sponsored by the Chinese Studies Foundation and SUNWAH Group, the Scheme welcomes academics from universities and institutions in Vietnam specialized in smart cities research. Visiting appointments range from 1 months to 6 months, including Professors and Post-docs.

Normally a visiting scholar will engage in the following activities during his/ her visit:

(1) Support teaching activities;

(2) Research and research collaboration;

(3) Conduct seminars, guest lectures or workshop

Qualification:

•The applicant should have a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications, affiliated with an established institution

•The applicant should engage in smart cities research in at least one of the following areas:

(1) Smart transportation;

(2) Building Information Modelling and Green Buildings;

(3) Infrastructure Systems Development;

(4) AI for Smart Cities Development.

•A letter of recommendation from his/her affiliated university
